We are seeking experienced and safety conscious CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Drivers to join our growing team at BBI Transportation. As a CDL Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations by safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers' destinations. Your dedication to professionalism and safety will uphold our reputation for excellence in transportation services.

Current Requirements:

  • 3 years CDL A Experience
  • 25 years old/older
  • Less than 1 moving violation in the last 2 years on MVR
  • No Drug Test fail or refusals/Clearing House vios in 15 years


Ohio Operation:
Pay: $0.60-$0.80 CPM

 Yard in Reynoldsburg & Zanesville – future terminal in Obetz
  • 2 weeks out generally, 7 days and then a 34 hour reset
    • Goal is to make sure reset is local to their home
  • Servicing 47 states
    • Do not service CA
    • Try to avoid the NW states during winter months
  • Work is based on customer needs
    • Working to build more dedicated opportunities – sister company is logistics based and will help to build those opportunities as well
  • Drop & hook, no touch freight
  • 2022 newer sleeper trucks
    • Equipment is well maintained
    • Can take home equipment if they have secure parking
  • Dispatch is force BUT flexible
    • Can accommodate needed home time, different schedules
    • Super organized and very communicative
    • Plan freight out 3 weeks ahead, no downtime and plenty of work available

Key Responsibilities:

Safe and Efficient Driving: Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Prioritize safety and prevent accidents through defensive driving practices.

 

Cargo Transportation: Secure cargo to ensure it reaches its destination undamaged. Verify shipping documents, maintain accurate records, and report any discrepancies or issues.

 

Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine pre- and post-trip inspections of your truck and equipment. Perform basic maintenance tasks and promptly report any mechanical issues.

 

Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and company representatives. Maintain open communication to provide updates on delivery progress and address inquiries or concerns.

 

Compliance: Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.

 

Safety: Promote a culture of safety within the organization by reporting safety hazards, following safety protocols, and participating in ongoing training and safety initiatives.
